Myriad Hobgoblin is not fully feeling the adrenaline and rage of the army’s battle cry. He’s seen enough bloodshed for one lifetime and at this point is just going through the motions, phoning it in so to speak. Though his rugged hobgobliness depicts him as a fearsome warrior, his faraway mind reveals the dreamer behind the mask.
