CHARCOAL & OIL PASTELS
FEBRUARY 2025

DESCRIPTION

What is more expressive than the human face? A whole bunch of faces, that’s what. Hall Of Faces was drawn with colored charcoal on a 12×18 inch sheet of light grey drawing paper. When drawing faces it is the subjects essence that I am trying to capture rather than any specifics in regards to features or expressions. I generally let the faces choose their own expressions and look however they want to rather than force them into my personal idea of what they should look like.
